MUS 111 Fundamentals of Music
This course is an introductory course for students with little or no music background. Emphasis is placed on music notation, rhythmic patterns, scales, key signatures, intervals, and chords. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the rudiments of music. This course has been approved for transfer under the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement. This course has been approved for transfer under the ICAA as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement.
