PSY 263 Educational Psychology

This course examines the application of psychological theories and principles to the educational process and setting. Topics include learning and cognitive theories, achievement, motivation, teaching and learning styles, teacher and learner roles, assessment, and developmental issues. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the application of psychological theory to educational practice. This course has been approved for transfer under the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement. This course has been approved for transfer under the ICAA as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement.
