Emergency Medical Service Programs

The Emergency Medical Service Programs are designed to meet the requirements for certifications including CPR/Defibrillation, First Aid, Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), and Paramedic. The programs also provide training and continuing education for Emergency Medical Services (EMS), individuals holding a North Carolina EMR/EMT/Paramedic certification, rescue squads, ambulance services, fire departments, law enforcement agencies seeking to hold HP CPR (there is an additional charge of $5), Elementary and secondary school employees, and citizens seeking to hold CPR and First Aid certification (there is an additional charge of $20). Classes are held on campus and throughout Wayne County.
