AST 111A Descriptive Astronomy Lab

The course is a laboratory to accompany AST 111. Emphasis is placed on laboratory experiences which enhance the materials presented in AST 111 and which provide practical experience. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the universe around them. This course has been approved for transfer under the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement as a general education course in Natural Science. The course has been approved for transfer under the ICAA as a general education course in Natural Science. This is a Universal General Education Transfer Component (UGETC) course.
