Placement Testing

A placement test is administered to an applicant if required for admission to the college or their program of study. This consists of tests designed to measure reading/English and mathematical skills. The results of these tests are used to assist the student and College personnel in planning an appropriate program of study for each student. Testing sessions are scheduled throughout each semester and applicants are scheduled in advance for a test date. For individualized test preparation, contact the Academic Skills Center located on the third floor of the Learning Center Building. See website at: www.waynecc.edu/academic-skills-center.  The free Accuplacer study app includes sample questions and explanations for both correct and incorrect answers.  Explore practice questions and get feedback on the skills you need to focus on the most.  A link to the Accuplacer study app is available at www.waynecc.edu/counseling/placement-tests/.
