The Associate in Arts Degree is designed for students desiring to pursue a four-year degree in one of the liberal arts disciplines or training at a professional school that requires a strong liberal arts background.

Note

The AA program is also to prepare students to enter one of the limited admission health science fields.  Students may be placed into the AA program until they are admitted into their intended major:  Dental Hygiene or Dental Assisting.  If AA students are unable to meet the minimum requirements to apply to these programs, students should work closely with an advisor to determine a more appropriate course of study.
